"I really enjoyed the time putting these cards together. So, thanks again for the opportunity." "We had a great time and know the kids will have fun with the rice tables." "Thank YOU Cliff. The team and I certainly enjoyed helping out. I hope we can do likewise in the future."
"Thanks again for working with us this week and best of luck on the good things you are doing to support these kids." "I was wondering if you have any more philanthropy opportunities. Sigma Chi can contribute many hours and it would be nice to make something happen that was as successful as the Epicenter Teen Center." "We would love to do another project similar to the Hage Klassic Kids. Next year sounds great!" "I would be interested in working with the children again sometime. I really enjoyed helping them learn about new things and helping them with homework." ORCO Construction Supply, the largest independent building supplier for professional contractors on the West Coast, is teaming up with Harmonium, a San Diego-based, non-profit agency that offers social service programs for children, youth and families, to rebuild a handicap ramp for the Hage Klassic Kids Child Care Center. Cliff Beyer, Volunteer & Staff Services Manager for Harmonium, says the ramp in its current condition “provides a rather bumpy ride for wheelchairs due to years of heavy use and for safety reasons really needs to be totally rebuilt. Since we are a non-profit organization that relies strictly on public and private sources, we are grateful to ORCO for lending us a much needed hand on this project.” The Community Service Project will involve ORCO volunteers working on a building-type project that benefit one of the communities it has served over its 50 years. “We’re working with community officials, leaders and organizations to develop projects that will have a positive, lasting impact for our communities.”
